Darra’s methods focus on efficiency and personal connection leading to strong results for each client.
Through her extensive training and work with Darius Mirshahzadeh, she has become an expert in writing core values, rolling them out, and coaching clients on The ScaleMAP method. Together and individually, she and Darius, have worked with dozens of clients to design core values and implement them into their organizations. Her work spans a variety of industries, including, but not limited to Fashion, Hospitality, Technology, Mortgage, Cosmetics and Fragrance, Legal, Finance, Outdoor Recreation, SMS, and Nonprofits.
As an assistant adjunct professor in the English and Communications department at the Fashion Institute of Technology since 2007, she was the recipient of the SUNY Excellence in Teaching award the first year it was open to adjunct professors. Her focus is providing students with meaningful and authentic classroom experiences that transfer to the real world and promote lifelong learning.
She spent two years studying at the University of California at Berkeley before graduating from the University of California at Los Angeles with a BA in World Literature (English, Italian and Spanish literature). She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and Secondary Single Subject Credential from the University of California at Irvine.
Her proudest accomplishments are the successes she has guided her students and clients to achieve. She works in a variety of industries to implement change and growth into small and large organizations.
